Participation Log for Professional Development - CMH (Certification Maintenance Hours)
SRCLD Certification Maintenance Hours (CMH)
SRCLD offers Certification Maintenance Hours (CMH) that can be reported to ASHA by the individual SRCLD attendee. The Participation Log must be completed and submitted in order to receive confirmation for your records. A confirmation will be sent to you for your records (by end of July, 2021). You will self-report hours earned to ASHA at your three-year interval. SRCLD does not report to ASHA for their registry.
A CMH is 60 minutes spent in a professional development activity as a learner and participant. CMHs are accumulated through participation in non-ASHA CEU activities for the purpose of maintaining your CCC.
Activities will generally be accepted if you determine that they contribute to your professional development and will lead to acquiring and enhancing skills and knowledge required for independent practice.
Some examples include…
- other continuing education activities such as state association workshops, and seminars offered through other professional associations like those offered for continuing medical education (CME) units, university scientific symposia, and formal online, non-credit courses offered through a university (i.e., autism, literacy, neurological disorders, genetics, and ethics);
